You will find this two-bedroom apartment in the very heart of Rome’s historic center.

Located on the top floor of an 18th-century building, this beautiful Navona terrace apartment is divided into several levels. Seven internal steps lead you into an entrance hallway that connects into a bright living room. This offers two large couches, and a dining table that seats up to six people. You will also have a fireplace and a small satellite TV at your disposal. The living room also features nice views of the piazza below, and the apartment’s 3rd-floor location ensures that the noise of the city does not reach the windows. Keep in mind that you will not have access to a lift in the building.

From the living room, a door opens into the first bedroom. This has two twin beds, and is connected to a private bathroom with shower. You can access the loft via 6 steps above the two twin beds, which leads to another single bed.

You can access the master bedroom through the main entrance hall. This features a king size bed with another private bathroom. This bathroom has a shower as well. Two nightstands on each side of the bed have lamps for reading. You will also have access to a large wardrobe for holding clothes or personal belongings.

A small flight of steps lead up from the entrance hall into a bright kitchen . Sunlight floods this space, thanks to windows on 3 sides of the room. In the kitchen you will find a stove, a toaster oven, fridge, freezer, and a washing machine. Just outside the kitchen you can enjoy meals and drinks at a small breakfast table that seats up to three people. A door leads out onto a beautiful, rooftop terrace, with a table and chairs for up to 6. The terrace looks out onto the rooftops of central Rome, providing a unique vantage point that many people do not get to experience.

This Navona terrace apartment also features air conditioning and central heating, as well as WiFi internet.

The Location

This apartment sits in a lovely, tree-filled square called Piazza Sforza Cesarini. This is just 3 minutes from Navona square on foot. Moreover, Campo dei Fiori and the lively Trastevere are but a stone’s throw away. This means that in the evenings you will be spoiled for choice. The area has a plethora of restaurants and bars to choose from. This makes for the best atmosphere, as friends spill out onto the street whilst sipping on a spritz.

This means that in the evenings you will be spoiled for choice. The area has a plethora of restaurants and bars to choose from. This makes for the best atmosphere, as friends spill out onto the street whilst sipping on a spritz.

What is more, this area will provide you necessary facilities such as banks, post offices, supermarkets and pharmacies. We would also recommend the Campo de’ Fiori market. Here you can buy fresh produce with which to cook up your own delicious meals at home.

In addition to this, Navona is very close to many of Rome’s main attractions. For example, the Pantheon is just round the corner, and the Trevi Fountain just a few minutes walk from there. Moreover, the Piazza Venezia, Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, and the Vatican are all under half and hour’s walk from this area.

A particularly nice thing to do of an evening is to cross the bridge to the Trastevere district. Behind this you will find the Gianicolo hill. Climb this just before sunset, having bought some take out pizza from one of the many eateries in Trastevere. Eating at the Piazzale Garibaldi, you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the Vatican’s St Peter’s Basilica.

«Very nice apartment,great location .»

The apartment was quite large and could sleep 5 comfortably. It's in a piazza off of the Corso and the traffic is quite noticeable when the windows are open. The terrace was very nice and quiet. There are 3 restaurants below the flat. There's an exhaust fan from a restaurant running up the back of the building next door that runs from eaRead Morerly am till 11:30 pm. Some cooking odors were noticeable from it depending on the time of day. The kitchen was small but adequately appointed. There's a small bathroom off of the kitchen and terrace level. The flat had 2 levels and a flight of steps as soon as you enter the flat from the doorway. There are 2 flights of stairs before you reach the flat. Not bad unless you have a lot of luggage. I wouldn't recommend it for small children due to all of the stairs in the flat. The beds were just ok, a little more padding would have helped a lot. One of the shower doors was only attached at the top which made it difficult to move. The location is great. It's a short walk to the campo di fiore , the pantheon and piazza navonna. Overall I had a very pleasant experience.

«Really lovely apartment centrally located with quirky charm and great air conditioning in hot August sun.»

The apartment was a charming introduction to Rome. It had a lovely quirky character and layout. We came to learn that the location is quite ideal to everything and we walked everywhere except the train station. The space was wonderful for our family of four with two large teenagers. The air conditioning was very good throughout. The extra blanRead Morekets and comforters were useful. We did not get to use the terrace much because of the heat but it would be a lovely addition in the spring or Fall for coffee/supper. The restaurant right below the apartment was charming and Campo dei Fiori had everything you needed so close by. The beds were not as soft as we would like but not a deal breaker. The air conditioning was much more important. the WIFI was also good according to my kids. I would definitely book this apartment again when in Rome.

«Great Stay »

We had a wonderful stay in the Navona Terrace apartment. It was in a great location, just moments from Campo de Fiori and Piazza Navona, and definitely walking distance (20-30 minutes) to Trastevere, Vatican and Spanish Steps. For those uncomfortable with stairs, it is not ideal, as one must climb 4-5 short flights to get to the apartment, but itRead More didn't bother us. The apartment is tastefully and simply decorated and is very comfortable, with a charming terrace. We are a family of five and had plenty of space. The square below is lush and has a couple of nice trattorias and a pizza café, which we enjoyed. We were not aware of any noise from the restaurants at night. RomeLoft provided welcome support through a transfer from the airport, help with a lost key, and we also booked our tours with them, which were fantastic!

«Great location, comfortable and secure»

Our group consisted of three adult males (dad (87 years old) and two sons). This apartment is a perfect Rome apartment. Plenty of room and was very comfortable, clean and secure. It is situated off a Piazza that has plenty of large green trees shading it which is like an oasis in a desert when it comes to Rome. It was great to be able to look out Read Moreof the window and down onto the trees below. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size and functional - The main bedroom was exceptional. The kitchen has everything you need but not much bench space. We ate at local restaurants for almost every meal except breakfast so the kitchen size wasn't a massive issue. We ate breakfast out on the large terrace and watched the Swallows fly around. There are a few stairs (about 50) to get up and into the apartment and there is no lift so if you struggle with stairs then give that some thought. We were a bit worried about the stairs as we went up them for the first time but once you get to the apartment you forget about them. It is close to lots of the major sights and there are plenty of great cafes/restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets, chemists/pharmacies and the local market in Campo Dei Fiori to get fresh fruit and vegetables. The Wi - fi worked really well. This was important as we had a business to run back in Australia. We even managed to watch a few Australian Rules football matches via the internet and the quality was great. The communication by the staff was exceptional. They were always friendly, helpful and responded quickly to emails. The only downside to the apartment is that some of the doorway heights are low so you just have to watch your head. This was the ONLY issue we had with the place but you learn quickly enough to bend down a little. I would happily stay at this apartment again. The bed configuration was a queen size bed in the main bedroom and two singles in another room. There is another single on a mezzanine level but we didn't need to access/use that.

«a perfect Rome experience in a fabulous property in a fabulous location»

Navona terrace apartment is a great place to stay, perfectly located near to all the main sights of Rome. Everything about our experience with Rome Lofts was positive, from booking, airport transfers, staff greeting on arrival and of course the apartment itself. It is in a great location with everything on the doorstep, full of character, history Read Moreand it was perfect for us with our two children. «Lovely»

This is a beautiful apartment that has been very tastefully decorated. We were able to enjoy eating on the terrace when the weather cooperated. The bedrooms with their own bathrooms was a bonus for us: two couples traveling together. I would not recommend this apartment for small children due to the stairway up to the kitchen. It is a great locRead Moreation, easy walking distance to many places and a block away from a bus stop. Our one complaint is the WiFi situation: we were instructed to use the WiFi for the restaurant downstairs, but the signal was very weak and caused frustration. We were led to believe that this was a temporary situation but the owner's information booklet confirmed that this was not new or temporary. The RomeLoft staff were excellent to work with and responded very quickly to our emails. The car service was excellent as well, even for a 4:30 a.m. pick-up. I highly recommend.

«Fantastic location and helpful staff»

The apartment was perfect and in a great location. We walked everywhere and it was lovely to come back to the air conditioning ! Staff were lovely and waited for us until 1.15am as our flight was delayed. There is a small supermarket called Pams a minutes walk away and a really nice bakery about 5 minutes (great to go get breakfast). Apartment wasRead More spotless and very well equipped and the wi fi was fast enough for two teenagers. Would highly recommend.

«Convenient, spacious and well equipped»

Aside from 3 levels of stairs (what a workout with 5 suitcases), we found the Navona Terrace was spacious, well equipped and really convenient for all the key parts of Rome. The staff at Rome loft were really responsive and helpful.

«Great location and a nice apartment»

You can walk to the Vatican in 15 minuttes, to Campo de Fiori in 10, Phanteon in 10, etc. Very good location. 5 beds all pretty hard, but ok. Internet didn't work well, but in total we would for sure recommend the apartment. Romeloft very quick to answer questions. Good service,

«Great Location and nice apartment»

The apartment is in a great location 5 mins walk to navona, castel saint angelo and campo de fiori with plenty of food shops and cafes restaurants close by. The roof terrrace is private and lovely in the sun and we had some nice lunches on a number of occasions on it. We could also dry our washing on it. Whilst the vent from the restaurant downstaiRead Morers is noticable it does not spoil the terrace. There a couple of negatives I feel I should mention although none of them would prevent me from recomending this apartment. The apartment does not have it's own wifi. It piggy backs off the restaurant downstairs. When it works it is very slow and when it doesn't work then there is nothing you can do. I mentioned this to the owner but he said there was nothing he could do. In order to work on my lapatop I had to use my mobile phone 4g as a hotspot. The toilet in en-suite of the main bedroom constantly drips so if you are a light sleeper this is annoying. Also the apartment must be above a metro line as it lightly shakes every 5 minutes. Finally when we arrived we had to wait 10 minutes for the keys to arrive. Despite all these I would happily stay in this apartment again with my family, our kids are 13 and 9 although due to the stairs up to the kitchen and terrace I don't think this would be a good apartment for young children.

«Fabulous apartment with great location!»

Our family of four stayed in the Navona Terrace Apt at the end of July 2014! The owner who met us on arrival was very informative and friendly. Even helped us arrange for transportation on the day of our departure! The apartment was exactly what we expected it to be from the information and pictures on the RomeLoft website. It was spacious and cRead Moreomfortable! The air conditioning was wonderful after a long day of touring about the city and the Wifi passed the test of our two teenagers! The apartment was located on the quaint Piazza Sforza Cesarini - close to everything in Rome, but a welcome oasis from the activity of the city! The restaurant below was an added treat! RomeLoft was easy to deal with and provided a seamless booking process! So pleased with our decision to stay in the Navona Terrace Apt during our visit to Rome!

«Convenient apartment, lovely old features.»

Delightful apartment and owner who was extremely helpful with everything from apartment details to local facilities. The noise from the restaurant extractor made the roof Read Moreterrace a disappointment but in a city, there is always something. Overall, an idyllic break - the great weather helps.

«Great experience!»

I was very happy with my choice to use RomeLoft during my stay in Rome. The apartment was exactly what I expected and worked perfectly for my family. The owner of the apartment made us feel comfortable and welcomed. He was in the apartment ready and waiting for us and went over everything we needed to know, including some of his favorite places Read Moreto eat. The apartment itself was perfectly located, large, clean, and best of all...it had air conditioning and internet! I also used the car service to and from the airport and I have to say that this was the best investment ever! As promised, the driver greeted us at the front entrance of he airport, helped us with our bags, and was happy to point out a few landmarks on our way to the apartment. He was even kind enough to walk us right up to the apartment entrance as we had no idea where it was at. On our return trip, we had to leave very early to catch our flight and I was a bit worried that our driver would not be there on time. However, five minutes before our scheduled pick-up time the driver was outside waiting. When in Rome, I would definately recommend using this car service.... it worked out perfectly! Thank you RomeLoft for a wonderful weekend! The Jepsen Family
