The Location

This apartment lies in the Borgo Pio district of Rome, just minutes away from the Saint Peter’s cupola. Borgo Pio is a great area to live, given that it lies on the Metro A line. This gives you direct access to the Piazza del Popolo, Spanish Steps, and central station, Termini.

Moreover, changing at the latter to Metro B, you can easily get to Monti, the Colosseum, and the Giardino degli Aranci.

Prati, which is nearby, is also a very nice area, offering many great restaurants and bars for a relaxed evening drink and meal. Being near the Vatican, you will be just a stone’s throw away from the gorgeous St. Peter’s Basilica, as well as the Vatican Museums. We highly recommend arriving early to both of these, as queues can be very long, and tiring in the summer heat.

On foot, you can easily wander down to the Castel Sant’Angelo. Moreover, crossing the Ponte Vittorio Emmanuele II, you will arrive in the Navona and Campo de’ Fiori, and the historical center.

This area has many of bars and restaurants, and tiny cobbled side streets. It thus comes alive at night as people flood into the center to enjoy its ambiance, especially in summer.
