The location of this Spanish Steps quiet apartment is one of the best in Rome: exclusive, quiet and extremely central. Situated on the 1st floor of a seventeenth century building that doesn’t have a lift, the apartment overlooks Via Margutta and its fancy art galleries.
The dining room with a contemporary glass table and phantom chairs contrast with the traditional “Cotto” floor. Mirrors, beige sofas, and a wooden cupboard also furnish this lovely room. This is the perfect space in which to enjoy a home-cooked meal, or to start the day with a hearty breakfast.
Twin doors lead you to the spacious living room where there are two white sofa beds with elegant soft pillows. The red velvet curtains are in harmony with the “Cotto” floor and the Turkish carpet. Furthermore, a 32″ flat screen TV, a DVD player, a desk with chair, China abbat-jours and paintings complete the room. After a long day of exploring, there is nothing better than getting to unwind in this extremely comfortable space!
The elegant master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with night tables and red lamps. Blue curtains decorate the windows. There is also an en-suite bathroom (with a bathtub) embellished with a stylish green Roman column.
The well-equipped kitchen features a gas stove, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, and a toaster. Here you can prepare some mouth-watering meals that you can consume in the comfort of your own home. Why not try out some new cuisines, or even try your hand at the Italian gastronomy?
Wireless Internet access and central heating are also available. We highly recommend the apartment to a group of friends and families.
You can rent this property for both long and short term stays.
This Spanish Steps quiet apartment is just a few steps from Villa Borghese’s park. Here you can enjoy sweeping views over Prati from the park’s Pincio terrace. It is moreover a lush green oasis in the middle of the city, which can be a great place for children to release some energy!
This whole area features the chicest boutiques of Rome on Via del Babuino, Via del Corso and Via di Ripetta. Its facilities equal its shops in style, with fashionable and elegant bars, and refined restaurants.
This area is also home to such attractions as the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Within easy walking distance you will also find the Piazza Venezia, Pantheon, and Piazza Navona/Campo de’ Fiori area.
The latter is particularly nice in the evenings, with people spilling into the streets from its many bars and restaurants. In addition to this, Campo de’ Fiori holds a great fresh produce market every morning. Why not come here to pick up ingredients that you can then use to make your own delicious meal at home?
To get to the Vatican you can simply hop onto the metro A towards Battistini for a couple of stops. This will take you just a block or two away from the Piazza San Pietro. In the surrounding area of this stop (Ottaviano) you will also find some great lunch places, given that this area is popular amongst locals.

«The staff at RomeLoft was very professional, courteous, and responsive.»
We enjoyed our stay at Margutta House Apartment very much. The only complaint was that the air conditioning unit in the bedroom made a very loud noise several times a night, as if there was a pump going off. It lasted about 10 seconds, and happened a few times a night, and it was impossible to sleep through it. After several days we realized that w...Read More
«Very good value for money»
The apartment was clean and the staff very polite and cooperative. The location is excellent. We travelled with our young children and we visited most of the city walking from the apartment. Our only complaint is that there could be more facilities (more towels for instance) and that some of the tiles on the floor are showing their age. I highly re...Read More

The location of Via Margutta ,55 is perfect , the street itself is an oasis in a busy city and the apartment can't be faulted. Romeloft were wonderful to deal with, thus our Rome stay ( we have been there a few times before) was a fitting end to our 4 week holiday in Italy. Ciao!
