Home of Emperor Napoleon III Bonaparte during his time in Rome, this 200 sqm suite will provide you with the opportunity to enjoy a historically rich environment with all modern-day comfort. This renowned building, located in the heart of Rome’s historic center, is a piece of art itself. Housing a total of 3 suites – Prestigious Bonaparte Suite, Majestic Spanish Steps Suite and Spanish Steps Grand Suite -, the building features ancient frescoes and sculptures. All suites have parquet floors and are decorated with various historical paintings. Composed of a large bedroom with a double canopy bed, an adjoining bedroom with 2 single beds and a large bathroom with bathtub and shower, the Prestigious Bonaparte suite also features a charming winter veranda as well as a private terrace. A light-colored room with detailed gold ornaments and frescoed ceiling, this luxurious main bedroom offers a Smart TV with Sky connection, a fireplace and direct access to the beautiful winter veranda. An extraordinary spot for some well-deserved rest, the veranda’s curtains run along its full length offering a charming and cozy atmosphere. Connected to the main bedroom lies the second bedroom with 2 single beds. With wood wall panelling, a wardrobe and library, this bedroom can accommodate two more guests and also offers access to the winter veranda. This suite also features a lovely private terrace with an outdoor dining area, perfect for enjoying breakfast or the classic Roman aperitif. To complete the suite, the bathroom, complete with a bathtub and a separate shower, offers a double sink as well as a bidet.

The Location

Located in one of Rome’s most exclusive districts, the building is situated at Largo Gordoni, in front of the FENDI store.

A few minutes away from the famous Spanish Steps, surrounded by great restaurants and bars that attract a refined and glamorous crowd, you will be within walking distance from numerous historic sites such as the Trevi Fountain, Piazza del Popolo, Pantheon and Piazza Venezia.

This apartment is very near the Piazza del Popolo. These are amongst the most exclusive parts of the historical center of Rome. In this area you can enjoy fantastic shopping opportunities, around the Via del Corso. Moreover, you can relish in delicious restaurants and revel in the exquisite bars and terraces. These attract a refined crowd and make for an elegant way to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

From this area you will also be within easy walking distance of many attractions. For example, you can walk to the Spanish StepsTrevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, Villa Borghese park and Piazza Navona in well under half an hour.

We recommend heading towards the Trevi Fountain at night. You will find fewer people trying to squeeze in a photo opportunity, and more people simply soaking up the tranquil and enchanting atmosphere created by the mixture of darkness and the Fountain’s magical illuminations.

In addition to this, this area lies on the Metro A line. This will take you directly to the Vatican City, and also the central station, Termini. From the latter you can also take the Metro B to the Colosseum, and also the Giardino degli Aranci, Monti, and Circo Massimo.

«Very comfortable»

Everywhere was clean, beds were comfortable, nice furnishing. Heating exactly the right temperature. Lots of plates! It would be helpful to have the following: more cups (only 2 coffee cups were there), some serving bowls, cheese grater, corkscrew. It would be helpful to know the name of the apartment on the bell outside. There were names, not numbRead Moreers, next to the bells. On arrival my sister, who was already in the flat, had a problem with her phone, so my husband and I could not phone or text her to tell her we had arrived. I phoned Asel who told me it was flat 8 on the 3rd floor. When we eventually got inside the building (this took sometime), there were no numbers on the doors, and in fact the apartment was on the second floor. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!

«Comfortable and close to many interesting places»

Liked this apartment very much. Spacious, without unnecessary clutter but with a well stocked kitchen -utensils, cutlery etc. Pleasantly decorated, very clean and well located. Showers a bit small, but nice bathroom decor. Linen and towels all great, and lovely large bed in main bedroom. No great views out of the windows but being right in the cenRead Moretre of the city amongst the fashionable shopping streets was really good, as we have a teenager who loves shopping. Lift up to the apartment was really appreciated after long days of sightseeing. The taxi service from the airport was brilliant and took the stress out of travelling. Romeloft staff very helpful too. Pizza Re nearby is very good and lots of ice cream shops to tempt us. A bit noisy at night, but it's less than one would expect in the middle of a city I guess. Didn't stop us having a good night's sleep.

«great experience»

An overall terrific experience -- the apartment was lovely and spacious. In the summer heat, the air conditioning was a real plus. We needed an extra set of keys, which were promptly provided. My only remark is that the apartment is too sparsely furnished and could do with a few more personal touches to make one feel 'at home'. But I strRead Moreongly recommend RomeLoft to anyone thinking of a trip to Rome.

«Cool, calm oasis from busy Rome»

We stayed here in July, the height of summer and tourist season, with two primary aged children. Half way between Piazza Del Popolo and the Spanish Steps, we were walking distance to many attractions and the Metro. We appreciated not being right in the centre of town as the area did not feel "touristy". This area is very sophisticated witRead Moreh high end shopping and lovely restaurants. The accommodation was simple, clean and the air conditioning a god send! No views but big windows in an authentic little street. Our whole RomeLoft experience was extremely positive. A lovely driver picked us at the airport and Honey was waiting for us on arrival. Great value for money.
