This Trastevere luxury apartment is tucked away in the charming Trastevere area, in a small alley right at the heart of one of Rome’s most characteristic neighbourhoods.
Having been recently renovated, the property has been transformed from an old theatre to a very spacious Rome luxury loft.
Upon entering the property through an arched gate, you are greeted by an entrance hall before entering the outdoor area. This miniature garden is paved with red brick leading to two glass doors to the apartment and subtly decorated with green plants and stone statues. A small sitting area, parasol and patio heater provide outside comfort regardless of the season.
Huge bay windows across the apartment’s facade allow for light to constantly flood the dining area and kitchen, and provide a view onto this charming outdoor space. A glass door takes you from the garden into the dining room or the living area. The inside of the loft is astonishing for its stunning airy composition and special attention to detail. The huge dining table is unique in its design, formed out of a single piece of Teak tree, seating at least ten people. The dining area also accommodates the kitchen, equipped with a large work surface and all necessary utilities such as a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge, blender, coffee machine and dishwasher.
The exceptional design of the loft means that the living area is within the same open space, simply down a few steps. It is exquisitely furnished with comfortable sofas, chairs, and a coffee table which face an outstanding wood burning fireplace. The living room’s stylish wooden decorations compliment its wooden floor and provide the room with an oriental touch.
Two olive trees further contribute to the open, fresh atmosphere created by the bay windows and high ceilings. The unique layout means that despite being outside, the olive trees contribute to the interior by acting as miniature courtyards within the apartment, surrounded by glass panels and separating the living area from the bedrooms. The openness of the loft therefore enables guests to enjoy the beauty and brightness of the outdoors within the comfort of their own home.
All three bedrooms are individually designed and furnished with a king size bed, large wardrobes for storage, a smart TV and a safe for your personal belongings. Each is uniquely decorated in an oriental style and feature large windows for plenty of light. The largest room offers an additional fold-out bed as well as a spacious walk-in closet and a wide bathtub. Its neighbouring bedroom is furnished with a gorgeous canopy bed with a dark wooden frame, and also contains a bathtub. The third bedroom overlooks the garden.
The bathrooms are all equipped with a stylish marble shower, toilette and sinks. They also include everything you may need such as towels, hairdryers and toiletries.
A special feature of this property is its spa area. This relaxing space includes a sauna, hot tub as well as a multi sensory shower. Massage services can also be arranged given notice at extra cost.
A fibre Wifi connection is of course available. The apartment is also equipped with a powerful floor standing sound system, air conditioning throughout the loft and flat screen TVs with both Netflix and Sky in each room. Bicycles are also at your disposal.
This property has a very strict cancellation policy: from 60 days prior to arrival, the full rental amount will be charged.
Trastevere, with its warm colourful buildings and tiny cobbled streets is arguably one of the most charming districts of Rome. Filled with some of the most renowned restaurants, bars and boutiques, it is loved by Italians and tourists alike. It is also within walking distance from many of the most famous attractions that Rome has to offer, such as the Pantheon or the Vatican City.
Within just a few metres from the apartment, you will find one of the oldest churches of Rome, Santa Maria in Trastevere. The terrace of the Janiculum is also a ten minute uphill walk away, allowing you to admire the breathtaking views of the Eternal City.
For any attractions that are further afield, you can use the Trastevere tram stop. Alternatively, many buses run along Trastevere’s river side and can take you all over the city.
