This stylish Rome studio apartment is located in the most charming neighbourhood of Rome: Trastevere. It features a modernly furnished living area with unique artwork, and a mezzanine with a king size bed. The wide windows and the high ceilings make this loft unique and comfortable. The living room includes a comfortable sofa, TV and kitchenette area with a table.

The apartment’s position is absolutely fantastic, as it sits above a beautiful courtyard, exquisitely decorated.

The kitchenette is well equipped with a gas stove, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave. It is more than sufficient to prepare meals, on those days where you want to relax in your own home rather than dive into the chaos of the historical center.

Another of this apartment’s highlights is its quaint balcony where you can have a romantic dinner or, during the summer, a delicious breakfast while you soak up the sun and admire the Roman rooftops.

This apartment also benefits from a splendid location, in a very peaceful corner of Rome – extremely central and quiet all at once.

The master bedroom is located in the mezzanine up a stylish staircase, and features a wide and comfortable king size bed. Two extra guests may sleep on the sofa bed.

The bathroom below is quite large and features a comfortable shower.

The apartment also provides WiFi. The apartment is moreover air conditioned.

You also have access to a safe where you can securely store anything you need to.

The Location

Trastevere is an old and typical Roman neighbourhood which lies in the heart of Rome. The most appealing trait of the area is its character: the popular Roman atmosphere with a cosmopolitan and modern flavor.

Locals and tourists thus flock here in the evenings, to enjoy its many bars and restaurants. In these streets you will find a lively atmosphere as people enjoy some of the best cuisine Rome has to offer!

For a beautiful sunset view, we recommend climbing the Gianicolo Hill. This sits just behind the main Trastevere area, and leads up to the Piazzale Garibaldi.

From here you can look over the historical center in one direction, and St Peter’s cupola in the other. The latter is where the sun goes down, thus making for a spectacular and romantic vision.

Crossing the river you will find yourself in one of the most central areas: Campo de’ Fiori. This has a charming morning market, where you can pick up some fresh ingredients for a breakfast or even a homemade evening meal. From here you will moreover be within walking distance of many of Rome’s most beautiful attractions.

This is also the area to head towards should you need supermarkets, banks, pharmacies or post offices.

Panieri Loft
«Very enjoyable stay»

The location was a must for staying in Rome. The extra tours offered by RomeLoft were excellent. Natalie (Vatican museum guide) was faultless in her knowledge and made the tour an A1 experience. The pick up and drop off driver was on time which was very reassuring and also the key manager (Honey) was terrific and very accommodating. I did find thRead Moree spiral staircase (outside) very narrow to negotiate and the internal stair was also a bit precarious without any hand rail. (couldn't get the TV or music system to work properly) But overall just lovely.

Thanks to all the team at RomeLoft. Finding and booking our appartement plus having the driver pick us up at the airport made life so easy thanks to the very efficient team. The Panieri loft situated in the Trastevere area was really nice and cosy, perfect for a couple and ideally situated. We walked everywhere, which for us is the only way to vRead Moreisit a city like Rome, and what a beautiful city it is! The loft has every thing one needs and is very funtional, simple but nicely decorated. The only "negative" points was lack of space in the bathroom to put creams, brush etc..and I did hurt my ankle on the corner of the bottom step of the stairs leading up to the bedroom, but maybe that is just me! And a few small spoons and a few english tv channels would be a plus even though nearly everyone has a computer etc.. just to catch up with the news or watch a film in the evening. So really nothing really terrible! There are lots of good restaurants in the Trastevere area which is great as I must admit after a long day walking we did not really have the energy to go anywhere else and to be honest it rained quite a lot in the evening being mid November. Restaurants I would suggest are the Dar Poeta for a good pizza, a lasagne at Il Duca and also Marco G on via Garibaldi. Before diner we would have a spritz at the Ombre Rosse just a few steps away from the Piazza Santa Maria. There is also a small shop with everything one needs just round the corner on the via Garibaldi and seems to be open all the time! Also try the 313 Cavour, close to the Forum for wonderful food and wine, not as cheap as the above places but definately worth it if you are a foodie! Do not miss either a drop dead tiramisu from Da Pompi close to the Piazza di Spagna! I could go on and on about all the wonderful places to visit and eat at! I have raved to all our friends about RomeLoft ever since our return, and we can't wait to go back in the spring with better weather and we shall definately book an appartment through them. Thanks once again to Sibilla, Mr Honey and our driver.

Ciao; We just returned home from a month long trip to Italy which began in Rome and lasted about 5 days at the Panieri Loft in Trastavere, Rome. When booking the Apartment we arranged the Car Transfer and after a long flight it was wonderful. The Driver literally dropped us off at the door in the early AM hours and Mr. Honey was there to greet uRead Mores and help us get situated. The apartment was lovely, cozy and clean and the garden terrace was a nice private place to sit and have breakfast and to have a glass of wine after a day of sightseeing. The Terrace is connected to a Drama School which is quaint and really adds some culture to the experience. The area was within walking distance to everything including the Vatican and all other major sights and was just the perfect location. The booking process was very simple and extremely professional. Our only regret was we had not booked longer. We loved the our trip to Rome and the Panieri Loft made even more lovely. It is in a wonderful and very safe area. We cannot recommend Rome Loft enough. Thanks Mr. Sunny. Kathy and Gerard - Canada
